Summary Top
Hoevelaken is a main junction of the national motorways, A-1 and A-28. The capacity of this junction will increase in the coming years, but it is situated in a rapidly growing metropolitan area. The demand for land, to be developed mainly for industrial purposes, will also increase. Is it possible to make multiple use of the land by combining the infrastructure with urban developments?
Objectives Top
Using integrated and active planning to manage urban demands for new development and reduce the use of greenfield sites especially in the urban fringes.
Outcomes Top
A feasibility study which describes solutions for multiple land-use of the area by combining or integrating the motorways with other urban functions.
