1st ESPACE International Technical Conference – 29th November 2004 «  Back

The ESPACE International Technical Conference will bring together experts from across Europe to present their work, research and projects on adaptation to climate change and to discuss how this can be incorporated into spatial planning at all levels. Speakers include:

Andre Jol - European Environment Agency
Carlo Lavalle - Joint Research Centre of the European Commission
Pavel Kabat - Climate Change and Biosphere Centre of Wageningen University
Tim Carter - Finnish Environment Institute
Andrew Deacon - Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs
Mark Fleischhauer - Institute of Spatial Planning - University of Dortmund
Willem Oosterberg - Dutch National Institute for Inland Water Management
Elizabeth Wilson - Oxford Brookes University

This is an opportunity to access a wealth of information and knowledge on climate change and spatial planning, network with a wide range of experts and practitioners and be involved in the development of new and innovative mechanisms for managing the impacts of climate change.
