The IIIB North West Europe (NWE) Programme was the predecessor of the current NWE period. During the IIIB, more than 900 partners across North-West Europe engaged in territorial cooperation. The result speaks for itself: 99 quality projects that enhanced sustainable development across NWE and a total Programme portfolio of €660m.



	A more attractive and coherent system of cities, towns and regions.

	Accessibility to transport, communication infrastructure and knowledge.

	Water resources and the prevention of flood damage.

	Stronger ecological infrastructure and protection of cultural heritage.

	Enhancing maritime functions and promoting territorial integration across seas.
